We really enjoyed this wine tour. The tunnels are very interesting and the tour guide explained all about how Georgian wine is made. Then, we had a tasting with some cheese and nuts. We were here in early May and it was not busy, so we had a guide to ourselves and we did not have to wait. We also thought the wine was great. After the tour, we had lunch on the restaurant patio with amazing views of the rolling vineyards and a bottle of red wine. The food was excellent – try the chicken with walnuts in a cream sauce (so good!) The portions are huge so you can definitely share.
An absolute pleasure to arrive at this scenic winery and we were greeted with song. There are lots of options you can choose from to enjoy your experience here, we had a tour and tasted 2 wines. It is cool in the tunnels but blankets are available. Great fun, great information and an amazing place to be.
The best location for wine tasting, a unique atmosphere, and different emotions. It was an information-packed tour, and I learned as much as possible about the wine technology and the history of the cellar, which was previously unknown to me. This unique tunnel, carved into the middle part of the Caucasus mountain range, leaves visitors with a lasting impression. Thanks to Khareba Winery and their guides for the hospitality, and I wish them success in their business.
